About the course

With Sara Hurley

This workshop can be taken as a stand-alone session or follow on from our ‘Office Full of Tales’ course. The focus is on honing listening skills. Recognising and respecting other people’s stories can improve workplace communication. Participants will develop their capacity for listening and explore the impact this can have on the workplace.

By the end of the session, participants will have explored:

Empathy and intelligent kindness
  • Inter-relating
  • Encouraging the story
  • Recognising internal judgments and their impact upon listening
  • Respecting differences
Delegates will leave the session with enhanced listening skills. When these are applied in the workplace, they will improve team communication and productivity.
